Dr. Megan Scherer
PT, DPT
Megan found her way into this field after going through her own rehab from volleyball injuries and realizing how much she loved learning about how the body works.
She attended the University of Hartford, where she earned her degree in Health Science with minors in Psychology and Biology, and also played Division I volleyball. She then stayed at UHart to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
She is passionate about helping people feel better in their daily lives. She loves working with patients to understand their goals and give them the tools and support they need to move more comfortably and confidently.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys playing volleyball with friends, running around the neighborhood or on trails, and spending quality time with the people who mean the most to her.

Dr. Mike Barry
PT, DPT, CSCS, COMPT, Cert. DN
Mike's path into physical therapy began with his own experience as a Division I soccer player. That athletic background sparked a passion for the field, leading him to earn his Bachelor's degree in Health Science and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, both from the University of Hartford.
As both a former athlete and a physical therapist, Mike is passionate about helping athletes and active adults recover from injury, move better, and return to the activities they love. He believes in individualized, goal-oriented care that empowers patients to build confidence and achieve lasting results.
Outside the clinic, Mike enjoys playing soccer, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Brenna Kelley
PT, DPT, OCS
Brenna is excited to join the Roba Physical Therapy & Wellness team. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and her Bachelor's degree in Health Science from the University of Hartford, where she also played Division I soccer. She recently obtained her board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).
Brenna's experience as an athlete sparked her passion for physical therapy and gave her a firsthand appreciation for the importance of movement and an active lifestyle. She enjoys helping patients recover from injury, better understand their bodies, and return to the activities they love.
Outside the clinic, Brenna enjoys playing soccer, running, and spending time with friends and family.


Dr. Wesley Johnson
PT, DPT
Sports have always been part of Wes's life. Growing up, he played ultimate frisbee, soccer, baseball, and basketball, and spent plenty of time skateboarding and snowboarding. He went on to play ultimate frisbee competitively in college, an experience that helped spark his passion for helping others stay active and move well.
Wes earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Hartford.
Wes is passionate about helping patients return to the activities they love. He brings energy, passion, and empathy to his work, and believes strongly in the importance of staying active and moving well—a philosophy he's carried with him since his own days as an athlete.
Outside the clinic, Wes still plays pickup ultimate frisbee and basketball, enjoys skateboarding and snowboarding, and likes to unwind with woodworking projects.

Dr. Alfred MacNeill
PT, DPT
Wrestling shaped much of Alfred's path into physical therapy. As a former Division II wrestler at American International College, he saw firsthand how physical therapy could help people recover from injuries, improve performance, and get back to doing what they love—an experience that sparked his passion for the field. Alfred stayed at American International College to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Alfred is passionate about helping patients of all ages and activity levels move with more confidence, strength, and resilience. He especially enjoys working with athletes, helping them recover from injury and return to peak performance.
Outside the clinic, Alfred stays active playing basketball and other sports.

Ariane Sudenfield
OT, OTR/L, OTD
Roba Physical Therapy & Wellness is pleased to welcome Ariane as our newest pelvic floor therapist. Ariane earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Western New England University and her Bachelor's degree in Allied Health Sciences from the University of Connecticut.
Ariane works with a diverse range of patients, with a special interest in helping individuals safely return to the activities and exercise they love. She has a particular passion for working with active individuals and athletes, focusing on strength, mobility, movement mechanics, and pelvic floor function to support performance and a confident return to sport and exercise.
Outside the clinic, Ariane enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, and getting outdoors—kayaking is a favorite pastime. She is excited to bring specialized pelvic floor care to the community.


Dr. Jaden Calixto
PT, DPT, Cert. DN
Jaden Calixto is a dedicated Doctor of Physical Therapy who earned his degree from American International College (AIC). With a strong foundation in sports rehabilitation, Jaden specializes in working with athletes and youth populations, helping them recover from injuries and return to peak performance.
A former NCAA Division II soccer player, Jaden understands firsthand the physical and mental demands of competitive sports. His athletic background fuels his passion for injury prevention, performance optimization, and empowering young athletes to stay strong, resilient, and confident.
Jaden is committed to lifelong learning and regularly continues his education to stay on the cutting edge of evidence-based treatment techniques. Outside the clinic, you’ll find him staying active, playing soccer, and spending quality time with his family.



Dr. Sean O'Gara
PT, DPT, SCS, LAT, ATC, CSCS, Cert. DN, CES
Dr. Sean O’Gara is a Connecticut native and board-certified Sports Clinical Specialist who is bringing professional-level experience back to the athletes and active community he calls home. Sean joins us after working in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs Organization. He served as the G-League Head Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist for the Austin Spurs and joined the NBA G-League United team in international basketball competition. Sean has returned to Connecticut with a clear mission: deliver high-performance sports rehabilitation to athletes and active individuals back home.
Sean specializes in acute injury management, return-to-sport rehab, injury prevention, and bridging the gap between physical therapy and strength training. His approach blends evidence-based care with the performance principles and sports science used at the professional level — helping all high school, collegiate, professional, and active adults move with confidence and durability.
Sean graduated from the University of Miami with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and is an alumnus of Springfield College where he earned his B.S. in Athletic Training. Sean is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and integrates Dry Needling into his practice, blending many principles rehabilitation to provide the highest quality care.
He is passionate about investing in the Connecticut sports community and helping athletes not just recover but elevate. In his free time, Sean enjoys playing sports, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.


Dr. Sotir Roba
PT, DPT, CSCS, Cert. DN
Sotir graduated from Springfield College with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After a year of working, Sotir decided to pursue his passion and open up Roba Physical Therapy.
Sotir's mission is simple: Restore trust in physical therapy by delivering high-performance, relationship-driven care that gets people out of pain, back to what they love.
In his free time, he enjoys walking, working out, reading and spending time with his wife, Emma, and daughter, Ellie.

Kaitlin Starr
Director of Operations
Kaitlin Starr works behind the scenes to keep Roba Physical Therapy & Wellness running smoothly. As Director of Operations, she oversees all Roba PT locations, serving as the go-to resource for day-to-day operations, ensuring patient claims are processed and paid, and resolving any insurance issues that arise. Her dedication and attention to detail make her the glue that holds Roba PT together.
Outside of work, Kaitlin enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her two cats. She's an avid UConn basketball fan, loves relaxing at the beach, and has a passion for baking.



Alex Ramos
Front Desk Manager
Alex brings over 20 years of customer service experience, including more than 11 years in the medical field to the team at Roba Physical Therapy and Wellness.
Specializing in front facing care, Alex excels at managing the front desk experience to ensure every patient feels welcome. For over a decade, Alex has also focused on patient related litigation, expertly coordinating records and billing between the practice, patients, and attorney offices. Known for a relentlessly positive attitude, Alex is always ready to greet you with a smile.
Off the clock, Alex loves spending quality time with his wife and two boys, and exploring the outdoors on a hike.

Sandy Walczak
Front Desk Receptionist
Sandy is often the first friendly face you'll see when you visit Roba Physical Therapy & Wellness. She takes pride in ensuring every patient feels welcomed and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.
Outside of work, Sandy loves spending time with her family, including her spirited daughter who keeps things interesting. She's an animal lover through and through—dogs and raccoons included—and enjoys getting outdoors, whether that's camping or just soaking up nature whenever she can.
